CounterBall

CounterBall is a fast-paced online-multiplayer action game in which two teams have to catch balls flying around in an arena and throw them at the players of the opposing team to score points. The teams need to reach a certain score to win the game.

My Responsibilities:
As the creator of the initial pitch and the lead of the team was my task to ensure that the project has a cohesive vision and that all tasks were completed in the right order to reduce the amount of time the team members had to wait for each other. I also created the complete gameplay/multiplayer logic and all shaders of the game. All of this is done with Unreal Blueprints. Additional engine modifications to allow for dedicated servers are done in C++. I established a collaboration with a group of “Sound and Music Production” students, to make sure that the game has access to good audio material.
