A feature that reduces the game down to base colours with the purpose of making everything as readable as possible.
Should be toggleable in a menu.
The purpose of this feature is to allow players with reduced vision to navigate through the game space.
Feature Description
The game will be completely desaturated and each object in the environment will be framed by a noticeable outline. The outline will be less visible the further the object is away from the player.
A selection of objects will be highlighted with a colour these objects and the corresponding colours will be defined by the design team. Something like:
- Red → Enemies
- Blue → Allies
- Yellow → Corpses
- White → Interactive elements
Try to select colours that work well for colourblind people or better make the colour for each highlight adjustable.
Some objects should also be able to change colour enemy/red → corpse/yellow.
