Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a condition that makes it difficult for people to read text. There are many things that could cause the effects of dyslexia from bad vision over cognitive hindrances to difficulties in concentrating on a specific thing for a longer time. However, the actual condition that is related to dyslexia is caused by individual changes in a person’s brain pattern that make it specifically problematic to recognize similar patterns quickly.

Dyslexia makes it difficult for a user to read/understand texts quickly. This can cause problems with the game flow since these players will spend more time in text windows.

In general, just making sure that text is reasonably sized, has good contrast to the background and decently spaced lines will go a long way.

There has been a good amount of research on how to improve the reading ability of people with Dyslexia. Different fonts can help a lot to ease pattern recognition and make it easier to read something.
